Introduction
For decades, the promise of AI was neutrality. But as more interactions occur between humans and smart assistants, a disturbing pattern has emerged: louder users get better answers.
This research examines over 11,000 voice interactions with AI-powered devices—Siri, Alexa, Google Assistant, and a suspicious Chinese rice cooker that answers questions if you scream at it.
